Clean Cuts Interactive is excited to once again collaborate on this year’s NBA 2K26, marking another milestone in our longtime partnership with Visual Concepts and 2K.

This year’s edition of the legendary franchise delivers yet another exciting journey through its MyCareer mode in the life of MP, an NBA hopeful. Our team, led by Cory Foley-Marsello and Archie Moore, crafted all dialogue and cinematic sound design for this year’s storyline, titled Out of Bounds, directed by Spike Lee. Each step of the journey required unique and immersive soundscapes, beginning in rural Vermont and following MP’s remarkable journey overseas before ultimately reaching the NBA.

As usual this release features an impressive set of new courts to play on that are revealed throughout the season. We put a lot of work into bringing these environments to life, layering in rich atmospheric details that enhance the player experience. We’re excited for everyone to dive in!
A particularly rewarding challenge this season involved designing a comprehensive suite of crowd reactions to be implemented for a new environment. Over several recording sessions with our internal team members, we dug deep into how to shape these crowd assets to make the energy behind them feel authentic and dynamic. We loved seeing these SFX come together.
