What do you get when you combine cutting edge technology, immersive storytelling, creative soundscapes, and original artwork from legendary artist Frank Miller? Clean Cuts Interactive’s newest exciting project! The Clean Cuts Interactive team partnered with Concept Art House and Gala Labs to create the sound for nine non-fungible tokens (NFTs) of newly created artwork by Miller to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his famous neo-noir comic series Sin City. If you’ve never read the comic, you might be familiar with the 2005 movie adaptation, the 2015 sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, or Miller’s other works, like 300, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, and Daredevil.

The project kicked off with our team of Sound Designers creating and experimenting with multiple sound palettes to try to capture the iconic feel of Sin City. Once a style was selected, Sound Designers John Rigatuso and Nick Sjostrom worked to build on the world created by Miller, designing dark, moody, and suspenseful soundscapes.
